The cable car carries you directly, comfortably and quickly from Alpendorf into the Gernkogel hiking region of mountain pastures. Whether you simply want to walk a short distance to the next alpine pasture or intend to take al long walk in the mountains. Whatever your aim, restful pastures and huts welcome you to stop for a while and take a typical alpine snack. The pastures and huts are open daily from the begining of June through to the end of October or during operation hours of cable car.
